A vintage Rolex Submariner, model 5512, with rare Underline gilt dial and pointed crown guard case.

The round case measures 40mm in width, featuring the original black dial with gilt writing. The dial is marked by the original Tritnium luminous indices which still glow briefly with exposure to ultraviloet light. The four line gilt dial features rare two tone silver and gold gilt print, with a highly desirable so called underline located below the words Oyster Perpetual. The underline was used for a brief period in 1963 to identify watches which were in compliance with the new US Government regulations for radioactivity.

The stainless steel case is complemented by a black bidirectional rotating bezel, enhancing the watch's robust appearance. The design is characterized by its diver style, reflecting functionality and precision. The case appears in an unpolished state showing a hint of the original chamfers. The bezel is original, beautifully faded, and rotates properly.

This timepiece exemplifies Rolex's commitment to craftsmanship and design. Made in 1963, this watch is a testament to Swiss engineering.

This watch is accompanied by the Original Rolex Guarantee papers dated 1963, original Box, and original Hang Tag. The original Jubilee bracelet is also included, however it is in well worn condition and should not be used.

The watch is powered by an automatic movement, with a screw-back case. Total length is 8 inches.
