What to expect:
The class is designed for everyone! Each person will get their own workshop table where their movement pieces, dial, watch case and strap will be ready for assembly and guided step by step by myself. Each movement is mechanical and will require most of our time to assemble and, of course, if you need help I’m more than happy to step in.
The goal is to have fun, give you insight into the structure and mechanics of a mechanical watch and show you how to use the most common watchmaker’s tools. Once the night is over you’ll leave with your own NOVO that you assembled!
We’ll have a Canadian Whiskey and a Bourbon. If you have suggestions please DM us before the event.

The experience is led by Steve Christensen. He has been featured on many prominent blogs, was a finalist in the FP Journe Watchmaking Contest, was featured on Canadian National news, works with many professional athletes and is the official watchmaker for Canadian Pacific Railway.

Important:
This course is an experience. The watches are very solid and usually run without any problems. However, as you assemble and build your first watch something may happen where the watch doesn’t keep exact time after the first week. That’s ok! It’s your first watch and we’ll make sure it runs smoothly if that happens. Errors that do not include breaking the winding spring are taken care of free of charge.
